YES!!! I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE DONE EVERYTHING IMPORTANT BY NOW!!! BUT I HAVEN’T DONE CRAP!!!
i got to work early, and then everyone else came, and a told me about her night with t and j. bar-hopping. boy-meeting. a frat party (!). she said she was still drunk.
oh those alcohol-tinged nights of the past…how missed are they…
but i don’t want to play anymore.
the other day there was a special about some historical highlights of los angeles on tv, the program discussed the history of sunset and wilshire boulevards as well as the fabulous watts towers. the program focused on the solitary nature of simon rodia’s work…he did it all alone; wouldn’t let anyone help him…but he did accept the broken bottles and plates brought to him by neighborhood children. …the current curators of the watts towers marveled, “he was a loner.”
it just happens.

i left work early, trudged down to the fashion district again, bought another bag of scraps. I AM OBSESSED. what it is about FABRIC?
burdastyle is a neat open-source sewing website…lots of free patterns, one of which i’ve been attempting to sew together for the past three days. cutting out three different groups of pieces, sewing, ripping seams, sewing, ripping seams, sewing, throwing everything away in frustration.
i’m trying to make a little nurse-like costume - a red and white skirt…something uniform-y…but not harajuku-esque…something…i was so close this evening…but then…there was this problem with the waistband…it didn’t line up with the skirt…no matter how much i altered:

tomorrow…
